The full but Empty Cross of Jesus is Jesus' journey through Holy week and the contrast of how he saw thing and other saw things. It also about the powerful impact that Christ was and is the true Messiah, who came to save the world from sin. (This was supposed to be the original store line of The Full but empty cross of Jesus however the store to a turn and now "The full but Empty Cross" tells a summarized story of Genisis chapter's 1-3 and help to explain why we need a savior and what we need saving from. Even the title of the book was changed.)

This is the first painting I did and was the importation for for "The Full but Empty Cross of Jesus" This painting was painted around 2020 . The black cross represents the thief on the cross who mocked Jesus  and the cross in the middle of course represents the cross Jesus died on and paid the sin debt that we could not pay our- selves  thous the cross is red and covered in the blood of Jesus, also the ground around the cross is covered in his blood as well. The final cross represents the thief, who knowledge who Jesus  and asked for his forgiveness, therefore, the cross is a pinkish color  because he was covered in the blood Christ and his sins were was washed way and he was made clean by the blood of Christ. The thief on left mocked and scoffed at Jesus as many do today because for some reason he was not meant to see that savior of the world was right there and all he had to was repent and ask for the forgiveness. The on right saw his own wickedness and he saw Jesus for who he real was and their are some of us today who see our own wickedness and realizes just how much we need to be made clean through the blood Christ. While Christ is no longer on the Cross what he did on that cross still hold a lot power today, thus The full but Empty Cross of Jesus.

This the second drawing for "The Full but Empty Cross of Jesus" This a drawing of the Lamb of God laying at the foot of Cross because Christ went to the cross willing to die for our sins. Christ is the the perfect sacrifices for our sins. He is the Lamb with out blemishes or spot. Thus, the Full but Empty Cross of Jesus

This is third drawing "The Full but Empty of Cross of Jesus'" This drawing is based of the Mary who poured oil on Jesus' feet to anoint him and prepare him for death, because she knew that she would not always have Jesus with her here on earth. Mary in her own way was looking forward to cross something we all need to do. Thus, the Full but Empty Cross of Jesus.

This is the original drawing of the cross that I was used for the original cover. Each word written on the cross stands for the full power that is represented when we think about Christ dying on the cross. Thus, the title "The full but Empty Cross of Jesus," the words written on the cross are Love, mercy, grace, faith, Salvation, hope, power, righteousness, forgiveness. This because when we see the cross of Jesus, we see the Love that Christ had for us by giving up his life for us. "Great love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13. Mercy is shown by the fact that God gave us his son as perfect sacrifice for us so that we can have a right relationship with God and that God give everyone a chance to repent and put their faith in trust Jesus Christ alone. "Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling to be gentle, and show perfect courtesy toward all people. For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our day in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and the renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:1-7. In this passage we not only read that God shown his mercy by the washing and renewal of the Holy Spirit, but we also see that being justified by his grace so that we might become hairs according to the hope of eternal life. Righteousness is shown by the fact that Christ became sin even though he knew no sin. 2Corinthains 5:21. Finally, we see forgiveness when Christ cries out to the Heavenly Father to forgive those who were crucifying him on the cross and those who were mocking him.

"And Jesus said, 'Father, forgive them for they know not what they do." Luke23:33 The same forgiveness offered that day is still available today to those who repent and put their faith Christ death and resurrection.

This picture is about the choices Adam and Eve had to make the day of the fall. It also about how we as society have the same choice to make which is to obey God or go our own way because we think we know better. This also is a part of "The Full but Empty Cross of Jessus" Because it tells us how God through his mercy and grace give us a choice. "But which person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desires. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death." James 1:14-15

This next picture is about the loss of fellowship with God because Adam and Eve disobeyed God. This part of the story tells why we need a savior because without a savior we cannot have a relationship with God. This also tells us just holy of God we have and just how much he hates sin.  Thus, making it part of "The Full but empty Cross of Jesus."

"And one called to another and said: Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!" Isaiah 6:3 "

And the four living creatures, each of them with six eyes all round and within, and day and night they never cease to say, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is to come! Revelation 4:8

"but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear. Isaiah 59:2

This picture demonstrates about how sin not only effected humanity it also effected the earth.  Therefore, sin is the cause of earthquakes, storms, and weeds, thus proving just how much damage sin can cause. "And to Adam he said, 'Because you listened to your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, 'you shall not eat of it,' cursed is the ground because of you; and in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life; thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you; and you shall eat of the plants of the felid. By the sweat of your face, you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return." Genesis 3:17-19

"For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God." Romans 8:20-21

This last picture which is part of the cover of "The Full but Empty Cross of Jesus" demonstrates the fact we all will die one and face the final judgment.  "And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment," Hebrew 9:27

This picture also demonstrates the fact that those who have not put their faith in trust in Christ alone for their salvation are spiritually dead. "When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, he made you live together with him, having forgiven us all out transgressions. Colossians 2:13
